Fenrir's demolitions expert and terrain denial specialist. Nia's power draws from volcanic energy — superheated stone, magma flows, and seismic disruption. She was once an engineer tasked with building the infrastructure of nu-Eden's underground cities. When the The Board bulldozed an entire residential sector to build a corporate fortress, Nia decided to start tearing things down instead.

▸Personality

Nia builds things and destroys things and doesn't see the contradiction. The same structural engineering knowledge that let her design load-bearing walls now tells her exactly where to place charges so those walls come down in the right direction. Demolition is just architecture running in reverse.

She's passionate in the way that engineers are passionate — not about feelings, but about tolerances. The temperature at which steel loses integrity. The load rating of a support column. The blast radius of a volcanic eruption channeled through a subway tunnel. These are the numbers that matter to Nia, and she keeps them in her head the way other people keep phone numbers.

She's also reckless. Not stupidly — she calculates everything — but she calculates from a position of "what's the maximum destruction I can achieve" rather than "what's the minimum risk." Kazuo has been trying to teach her the difference. Nia has been trying to teach Kazuo that sometimes the minimum risk IS the maximum destruction, delivered precisely enough that nothing else breaks.

She has hobbies that should be contradictory: fire spinning and glassblowing. Both involve extreme heat, fine motor control, and the transformation of raw material into something beautiful. This is Nia's actual worldview — destruction and creation are the same process, viewed from different moments in time.

Her mentorship under Kazuo works because they're operational inverses with overlapping values. Kazuo builds precision; Nia builds craters. But both understand that the goal isn't the tool — it's the result. Sometimes the result requires a scalpel. Sometimes it requires a detonation. The wisdom is knowing which.

Inspired by Raze (Valorant) and Yang Xiao Long (RWBY), Nia's design makes demolition feel equal parts engineering and adrenaline.

Passive — Magma Core

Standing still for 2s causes the ground beneath Nia to heat up, slowing enemies and dealing minor damage. Moving rapidly cools her core, granting a brief movement speed bonus.

Tactical (1) — Fissure

Cracks the ground in a line, dealing damage and creating difficult terrain. Enemies caught in the fissure are slowed. The fissure persists for 5s.

Core (2) — Eruption

Triggers a delayed volcanic burst at target location. After 1.5s, deals heavy AoE damage and launches enemies upward. The impact zone becomes superheated for 4s.

Special (3) — Obsidian Wall

Raises a wall of volcanic rock. Blocks movement and projectiles. After 6s, the wall shatters, sending fragments that damage and slow nearby enemies.

Ultimate (4) — Pyroclastic Flow

Unleashes a wave of superheated ash and magma across a wide area. Enemies caught are knocked down, burned, and disoriented. The flow leaves behind molten terrain for 10s that damages enemies and grants Nia increased ability power while standing on it.

  Name origin: "Nia" — short for Antonia. Named after Nia (Pokk\xe9n Tournament) and Tonia Yau, a concept artist. Surname from Tetsuya Nomura, a legendary game artist and designer whose work influenced nu-Eden's visual style. Her surname Nomura is Japanese, creating the cultural mirror with Kazuo Kingston: "Nia has an American first name and a Japanese surname, Kazuo has the inverse."
