The Mechanics section documents the gameplay core of nu-Eden: Sundered Skies — from the type-based ability system and momentum-driven combat to parkour traversal and the resource-heavy Maborite economy.

Core Systems Overview

  1. Combat: High-speed, four-slot loadout combat with elemental affinities and momentum-based "Flow" scoring.
  2. Abilities: Character-specific skill trees focusing on Temporal manipulation (Conrad) and Polarity shifting (Lyndsey).
  3. Parkour: Momentum-based traversal including wall-running, Skylift grappling, and air-dash chain mechanics.
  4. Progression: XP-driven leveling, milestone-based skill point acquisition, and New Game+ scalability.
  5. Economy: Resource management involving Credits, raw Maborite, and Faction standing.

Technical Foundations
