The Board is the corporate parliament of nu-Eden — not a government, but a boardroom with a military budget. It sits atop the Cloud, the highest sector of the city, literally above the law. There is no party to vote out. There is no opposition to fund. There is only the Board, and the conglomerates that compose it.
