Progression in nu-Eden: Sundered Skies operates on two parallel tracks — character growth and equipment evolution. The economy sits beneath both, providing a resource layer that rewards exploration.

Level Scaling

  • Soft Cap: Level 50 (standard campaign completion).
  • Hard Cap: Level 75 (Thorough side content and NG+ content).
  • XP Curve: Logarithmic — early levels come fast, late levels feel earned.

Character Skill Trees

Each character features three specialized trees. Trees can be respecced at any nERF base for a moderate resource cost.

Conrad's Trees

  1. Temporal Mastery: Time manipulation power + duration.
  2. Temporal Warfare: Combat integration of temporal abilities.
  3. Temporal Resilience: Survivability + temporal defense.

Lyndsey's Trees

  1. Lux Sovereignty: Light-form abilities, support, crowd control.
  2. Nox Dominion: Dark-form abilities, aggression, area damage.
  3. Polarity Synthesis: Hybrid abilities, form-switching mastery.

Maborite Economy

Economy is resource-focused, designed to avoid unnecessary grind.

Currency & Resources

  • Credits: Standard trade currency for common equipment and supplies.
  • Maborite: High-density energy crystals used for exotic crafting and upgrades.
  • Reputation: Faction-specific standing used to unlock specialized gear.

Equipment Rarities

  1. Common: Base statistics, standard mod slot.
  2. Uncommon: Standard statistics, 2 mod slots.
  3. Rare: Specialized statistics, 3-4 mod slots.
  4. Exotic: Unique properties and full modification potential.
