But when ordered to execute innocent civilians during a purge, she shattered the code of obedience — and in turn, her own fate. Burned by betrayal and chilled by regret, she now serves nERF as a spectral arbiter, dealing justice through psychic erosion and dark matter manipulation.

Nicknamed the Ash Saint, her executions leave behind neither witnesses nor warmth — only scorched minds locked in a sensory void. Her tactical obsidian armor features psychic-conduit overlays fused into neural-mesh veins, with faint shadow smoke and dark energy trails coiling from her form.

Nicole is the center of Spektra — not by force but by gravity. She doesn't raise her voice. She doesn't threaten. She asks questions that force you to justify your existence, and then waits for the answer with the patience of someone who already knows what you'll say.

She was a former systems auditor for Qroma Alliance's Credisys oversight branch, specializing in human behavioral feedback loops. Before the Empire of Draconis gave her daggers, she had spreadsheets. The analytical precision carried over. Every execution is an audit; every judgment is a finding.

She believes morality is a "lagging indicator" — by the time you know something is wrong, the damage is already done. This isn't nihilism. It's operational awareness. She doesn't hate the Resistance; she genuinely wants to know if they can survive without becoming what they oppose. The question is sincere, and nobody has answered it yet.

Her brother Neville Langley operates Fenrir — black ops, the morally gray edge of the resistance. Nicole serves on Spektra — the team that questions why the edges exist. Siblings on the same side, from opposite ends of the moral spectrum.

Passive — Hyperesthesia

Every third ability or melee finisher overloads the target's senses, branding them with a Psychic Burn (damage over time) or Sensory Void (blindness). Enemies that die while sensory-overloaded erupt in a "Mind-Blast" (Dark AoE damage) or "Static-Shock" (brief stun).

Tactical (1) — Shadow Blink

A short-range blink strike through the shadow plane. Nicole teleports behind a target, dealing Dark damage and scrambling their senses. For 3s after the blink, Nicole's movements leave afterimages that confuse enemy targeting.

Core (2) — Duality Edge

Spins daggers in a sweeping psychic arc, dealing Dark and Psychic damage. Hits cause "Pain Resonance," increasing the damage the target takes from consecutive hits. The final strike triggers a neural explosion in all hit enemies, dealing massive damage to those already marked.

Special (3) — Ethereal Shroud

Enters a brief shadow-vortex, then lunges to the most recently marked target. On impact, targets are Silenced and their vision is heavily blurred for 3s. If the target is killed by this ability, the shadow-vortex expands, applying the effect to all nearby enemies.

Ultimate (4) — Void-Touched Judgment

Nicole creates a massive 15m field of absolute sensory deprivation. Inside the void, enemies are slowed, blinded, and take periodic Dark damage as their psyche is eroded. Nicole and her allies gain True Sight and increased Critical Hit rate against enemies trapped within. Final Collapse: Nicole detonates the void, dealing damage based on the total sensory marks accumulated.
