Lancers provide "vertical pressure," forcing enemies to look away from the main frontline. They are the ideal follow-up to Controller zoning, as they can bypass barriers to strike at vulnerable Marksmen. Their primary goal is to engage, disrupt focus, and disengage before a counter-strike lands.
