Escapists are mobility-first roles built to disengage and reposition: they create openings by running interference and avoid heavy trade windows.

▸Tactics & Synergy
Escapists are hard to catch. They are excellent for baiting out high-cooldown abilities from Controllers and Destroyers. Their goal is to frustrate the enemy, wasting their resources before a real engagement begins.
▸Design Notes
- ▪Mobility: Abilities should be readable and grant clear exit tools rather than unconditional invulnerability.
- ▪Blur: Fast-paced movement should have visual "echoes" or "blur" effects to make the character feel elusive.
▸Typical Abilities (design template)
- ▪Passive — Slippery Shadow: grants a small bonus to movement speed for 3 seconds after using an ability.
- ▪Tactical (1) — Dash Disengage: a fast repositioning move that clears all tether and slow effects.
- ▪Core (2) — Mirage Step: create a brief decoy while becoming invisible for 2 seconds.
- ▪Special (3) — Repositioning Spike: a short-range blink that resets if it dodges an ability.
- ▪Ultimate (4) — Grand Evasion: become untargetable and gain massive movement speed for 5 seconds.

- ▪Counters: Controller (zoning/trapping), Vandal (interrupts disengage), Marksman (sightline shutdown).
