Mechanics

  • Adaptive Edge: Normal types have a "Ready" meter that fills by dealing damage. At 100%, their next ability has no cooldown.
  • Fundamental Mastery: Normal Fighters gain a small bonus to all stats based on how many different ability types they have used in the last 10 seconds.
  • Baseline Resilience: Being "Tired" reduces enemy movement speed, a unique debuff that simple kinetic hits from Normal types can apply.

Design Cues

  • VFX: Clean, minimal white and grey palettes. High-fidelity kinetic impacts and simple trail effects.
  • SFX: Sharp, "dry" gunshots, mechanical clicks, and clean impact sounds (Mirror's Edge + Titanfall inspirations).

  • Passive — Reliable Kit: all abilities have 10% reduced cooldown and 5% increased damage.
  • Tactical (1) — Precision Shot: a standard kinetic projectile that deals reliable physical damage.
  • Core (2) — Burst Dash: a versatile short-range dash that reloads the current weapon.
  • Special (3) — Tactical Shield: deploy a simple energy barrier that absorbs light damage.
  • Ultimate (4) — Peak Performance: temporarily increase all stats and grant a massive boost to reload speeds.

  • Synergies: All (versatility), Tech (hardware upgrades), Triage (reliable sustain).
  • Counters: Chaos (unpredictability), Techno (system hacks), Psychic (mind-altering status).
